Kingston racer takes on Florida oval.
Local race car driver and Kingston native Jessica Power will be testing her talents early for the 2026 racing season. Thanks to some support, her team will head to the All Tech Raceway in for the Showdown in the Sunshine State February 4th through 7th.
Power explains their decision to make the trip to a track she will see for the first time.
Power says she will be against the best of the best in the DIRTcar Sportsman class.
Power says a win would be nice but tell us that solid performances are what her and the team are looking for.
She tells us that great support from local partners and sponsors have helped in their journey to this event.

This will be the first time Power has competed at the Lake City Florida oval. Power claimed three wins in the 2025 season including the World Short Track Championship at the Dirt Track at Charlotte for the DIRTcar Sportsman division.
