The final Grand Slam of Curling event will be taking place at Slush Puppie Place in December.
Kingston will be welcoming the best men's and women's curling teams in the world to Slush Puppie Place.
Tourism Kingston announced that the Grand Slam of Curling's Player's Cup will be taking place Dec. 15 to 20.
It will be the final event of the 2026 grand slam circuit.
The announcement comes on the heels of the winter games in Italy where Canada's men's and women's teams came home with medals.
Managing Director of Sales for Tourism Kingston Alex Elliott says it should be an exciting time for curling fans.
The Player's Cup will feature 12 of the top curling teams in both the men's and women's categories.
Kingston had previously hosted Grand Slam of Curling events and the Brier.
Elliott says the city has always been a curling hotbed.
In addition to the Player's Cup, the Wheelchair Invitational will be at the Gananoque Curling Club at the same time.
Elliott says the event will provide a premier stage for Paralympians.
Tickets for the Grand Slam of Curling Player's Cup can be purchased through Ticketmaster.
