The Special Olympics fundraiser goes this Saturday at Kingston Military Community Sports Centre.
A fundraiser for Special Olympics Canada is coming to Kingston.
The 2025 Marathon of Sport will be at the Kingston Military Community Sports Centre on Nov. 22.
It is hosted by motionball Kingston for Special Olympics Canada Foundation.
Volunteer Event Director Emma Lambert says Marathon of Sport is an annual event that brings everyone together.
Lambert says both the Special Olympic athletes and participants will be playing a variety of sports throughout the day.
Lambert says there are usually between 350 and 400 taking part in Marathon of Sport.
She says the event has grown each and every year as more people want to participate.
In the 11 years of Marathon of Sport, the event has raised $529,457.
Lambert says they are appreciative of the over 20 businesses who have supported the event.
