The popular event will take place on the final weekend in April.
The Kingston Road Runners Association's (KRRA) biggest event, Limestone Race Weekend is back and set for April 25th and 26th.
KRRA chair Dalton Cote tell us a great team effort is bringing out lots of runners.
Along with the traditional 5K, Waterfront 10K, Historical Half Marathon, and 2K Tom Compton Memorial Run for Kids, a popular feature of the race also returns with more opportunities for runners to make a unique fast prison break out of Kingston Penitentiary.
This all-volunteer community event gives runners from far and wide a chance to experience the beauty and history of downtown Kingston while competing for cash prizes and awards.
It also brings real rewards to a variety of city charities as Cote notes.
Online registration will close on April 22nd and there will be no race-day registration. There's still a need for volunteers.
Find all the details for registration and volunteering at krra.org.
