Patrons can enjoy a steak lunch complete with sides and dessert.
One of the more historic venues in Kingston is holding a delicious fundraiser.
The Italo-Canadian Club is hosting a steak barbecue on Sunday, August 10.
The money raised will go towards the construction of a new roof on the 60-year-old building.
Banquet Director Ashley Morton says the roof has been leaking over the last few years and it is time that it got fixed.
Tickets for the fundraiser are $55, $50 for ICC members, $20 for children ages 6 to 10, and kids 5 and under eat free.
Morton tells us what patrons can expect at the barbecue.
The event will also be licensed with beer and wine available for purchase.
Morton says there will also be a performance by the Tarantella Dancers.
There is no set monetary goal for this event.
Morton says they want to raise as much money as they can.
She says they have already received estimates on the cost of a new roof.
Tickets are only available in advance.
They can be purchased online, or by contacting the Club or one of the Club’s Executive Board Members by August 1.
