Boutique waterfront festival expands to two days with hotel-style comfort, live Canadian music and growing early demand.

DevFest will return June 26-27 2026 in Cornwall Ontario after a breakout first year, organizers say. The boutique festival will again take place on the 70-acre Dev Hotel and Conference Centre property along the St. Lawrence River between Ottawa, Montreal and Kingston. It will feature dual headliners The Trews and The Strumbellas.

Festival organizer Ian Bentley says this is the 2nd annual DevFest.

Organizers say the event is built around a hospitality-first model, with about 500 hotel rooms steps from the stage. They say the goal is less time waiting in lines and more time enjoying music.

Bentley says DevFest blends big-name performances with up and coming artists.

The 2025 debut drew more than 2000 people and included 54-40. Early interest in 2026 has been strong, with 250 tickets and half of VIP passes already sold. Programming will also highlight Canadian and regional acts across two days.

Bentley says Kingston resident, Trevor Walsh will be kicking off the show on the Friday night.

DevFest takes place the weekend before Canada Day and encourages a staycation-style getaway with hotel packages available.
