What's Good in Kingston: Kingston Canadian Film Festival returns

KCFF is a charitable cultural organization dedicated to bringing Canadian film to audiences in a lively, immersive festival setting.

Now entering its 26th year, a popular film festival is returning to downtown Kingston from February 25th to March 1st. Executive director Marc Garniss tells us why this fest is so unique.

The Kingston Canadian Film Festival is a charitable cultural organization dedicated to bringing Canadian film to audiences in a lively, immersive festival setting. Each year, KCFF transforms both traditional and unexpected venues throughout Kingston’s historic downtown into vibrant screening spaces, creating a fast-paced celebration of films and special events that spark curiosity, fuel conversation, and offer a fresh way to experience Canadian cinema. Garniss gives us a taste of what to expect outside of simply going to the movies.

Dozens of feature length films and shorts will be screened in nine different downtown venues. In addition to the stellar array of films will be Q and A sessions, parties, workshops, networking events, live music, stand-up comedy and more. All available at accessible prices with great deals on multi-movie passes. Garniss says its a great way to improve the imbalance of entertainment economics in Canada.
