What's Good in Kingston: Kilometres for Kids Run Walk Roll is back

The event goes May 30 at Kingston Secondary School.

Kilometres for Kids, the annual fundraising event for KidsInclusive is set for May 30.

Running since 2004 it's known as much for its incredible spirit as for the number of people who hit the streets to raise funds for our clients with special needs. To date it's raised an outstanding $400K for the families of children and youth with special needs.

Emily Jackson, manager for KidsInclusive tells us what it's all about

Funds raised will be used in various way to benefit clients and their families according to Jackson.

There will be a 1 km fun run for kids and adults as well as a 5 km run, walk, or roll. It starts from the Kingston Secondary School at 145 Kirkpatrick St with the 1 km heading out at 10 am and the 5 km starting at 10:30 am.

One of this year's run ambassadors and last year's participants, Maggie Joslin is anxious to get rolling and hoping for a sunny day.
