What's Good in Kingston: Financial literacy and fraud awareness

Rapport Credit Union is hosting the free seminar at the KFPB central branch.

A local financial institution is hosting a free seminar on financial literacy and fraud awareness.

It is being put together by Rapport (a division of WFCU) at the central branch of the Kingston Frontenac Public Library on Johnson St this Thursday at 5:30 pm.

Community Investment Manager Beth Ann Price says it is open to anyone who wants to learn how to save or invest as well as know the types of fraud that are out there.

Price says there will presentations covering a number of topics.

Price says as a community-oriented business, these seminars aim to help residents have a better understands on finances and getting to their financial goals.
