What's good in Kingston? BFO Kingston butterfly release

Helping those experiencing the loss of loved ones

Since 1989, residents of Kingston and the surrounding area have benefited from the selfless efforts of Bereaved Families of Ontario with programs, services and resources based on a mutual support model to individuals, families, children, groups and communities. They are the bereaved helping the bereaved learn to live with grief.

On June 7th they will be holding another Butterfly Release to honour special lives. BFO Kingston ED Lisa Cassidy explains what it's all about

In addition to the Kingston area event at Glenhaven Memorial Garden at 2563 Perth Road in Glenburnie there will be a similar remembrance in Napanee. Lisa explains.

The Napanee event happens on July 19th at MacPherson House at 180 Elizabeth Street. Participants pay $25 for their butterfly and the funding is critical to the great works that BFO do as Lisa notes.

The deadline for purchasing butterflies for the Kingston event has passed but there will be a few available on the day and of course all are welcome regardless of whether a butterfly is purchased or not. The deadline for the Napanee event is June 29th. You can find all the details at BFO-Kingston.ca under their events tab. Join them to help the healing begin.
