The spring-time interactive exhibition starts this Saturday.
Kingston's Pumphouse Museum on Ontario Street in Kingston's heritage downtown is bringing a perfect spring-time interactive exhibition starting Saturday, April 25th.
It connects pollinators, climate action, and hands-on STEAM (Science Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) learning in an extremely fun way.
City Curator Melissa Cruise tells us where they got the idea.
This immersive, family-friendly exhibition invites visitors to step into the extraordinary world of bees and pollinators, and discover why their health is closely tied to the health of our environment and a changing climate in a very accessible way as Cruise notes
Visitors can climb through a giant honeycomb model featuring a queen bee and developing larvae, test their skills at a Bee I.D. Spinner, observe a Live Hive Cam, explore beekeeping tools and bee products, and even try a Waggle Dance to communicate like a real bee. Cruise says is all about fun.
The BEES! exhibit runs to October 31st at the Pumphouse Museum at 20 Ontario Street. Get all the buzz at kingstonpumphouse.ca.
