What's Good In Kingston: AWEC Women's Expo

Celebrate Kingston women entrepreneurs with market, workshops and pitch competition.

Kingston’s business community will shine at the Kingston Women Entrepreneurs Expo 2025, a full-day celebration of women in business and leadership.

Happening October 25 at St. Lawrence College, the free event will bring together female founders, local business leaders, and the public for a day filled with learning, connection, and inspiration. Guests can explore an autumn pop-up market featuring more than 30 women-owned brands and visit an exhibitor showroom highlighting impact-driven local organizations.

Founder of AWEC, Lev Calang, shares how the event came to life.

The expo will also feature an engaging panel discussion with successful women entrepreneurs and free workshops focused on business and wellness. A highlight of the day will be the grand finals of the Pitch Your Vision competition, where female founders will showcase their ideas and compete for cash awards.

Calang speaks about the power of empowerment.

She encourages women to come out, connect, and remember that anything they set their minds to is possible.

Admission is free, and the first 50 guests will receive swag bags. The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
