Many ways to help Kingston's most vulnerable

The Salvation Army Kingston Citadel Community and Family Services is urging the community to support their annual Christmas Hamper program amid the ongoing postal strike.

While mailed donations may be delayed, residents can still make a difference. Donations can be made easily by clicking the donate button on their website at sacfs.ca or over the phone by credit card at 613-548-4411.

Alternatively, you can support the initiative by dropping your donation in one of their kettles during the Kettle Campaign, available at several retailers across Kingston.

For those unable to donate money, the Salvation Army is also looking for volunteers. You can sign up online to give your time and make a meaningful contribution to the community during the holiday season by visiting Kingston Kettles volunteer enrollment.
