Almost there! United Way KFL&A nears campaign goal

It wraps today, but donations will trickle in

United Way KFL&A's annual campaign wraps up today with their annual Touchdown Breakfast this morning at St. Lawrence College.

The annual campaign raises funds that are then invested locally in programs that support people in vulnerable situations. United Way KFL&A continues to work collaboratively with agencies and community partners, tackling complex social issues including homelessness, food security, addictions, and mental health.

Joanne Langlois, Chair of the 2024 Campaign, says the perfect thing about the United Way is that all funds are raised locally and are all directed towards the unique and not so unique social issues in KFL&A.

United Way KFL&A President & CEO John DiPaolo shared about 65% of the funds raised each year comes from workplace partners.

This year they're hoping to hit a total of $3,920,000, and they're getting close to reaching that goal!

You can donate to the cause through their website, found here.

These funds were raised through the amazing fundraising efforts of students and staff—your #LocalLove is truly inspiring. Thank you for your #locallove and #support!
