This March Break, we’re diving deep into Navy heritage at the Great Lakes Museum. We’ll be open Monday through Friday as part of the Kingston Association of Museums' March of the Museums. Best part? It's completely FREE with no registration required! Bring the whole family for hands-on activities, special performances, and museum exploration.
Location: Great Lakes Museum, 55 Ontario Street, Kingston, ON
Dates: Monday, March 16 to Friday, March 20, 2026
Hours: 10 am - 5 pm
Cost: Free entry, no registration needed
Free parking on-site
Daily Activities:
- Test your strategic skills in our custom Canadian version of Battleship
- Test if you're "Fit to Serve" in the Naval Reserve
- Learn knot tying with Sea & Navy Cadets
- Master Salty Dog Talk to speak like a sailor
- Nautical crafts for all ages
Special Performances:
- Paddling Puppeteers - Monday, March 16 at 2 pm
- Indigenous Drumming - Tuesday, March 17 at 1 pm
