Loving Hands is honoured to continue uplifting individuals across our community through our annual Secret Santa tradition. This heartfelt initiative is dedicated to those who will be spending Christmas alone and do not have access to holiday support from other agencies.
Loving Hands is honoured to support individuals across three meaningful demographics in our community:
- Those currently living in encampments or emergency shelters
- Clients connected with various community agencies
- Individuals transitioning from precarious situations into safe, stable housing
As the holiday season approaches, we are thrilled to celebrate the spirit of giving through our 9th Annual Secret Santa Campaign, a tradition that has been bringing joy and dignity to our neighbours since 2017.
This year, we are preparing gifts for people of all ages—from newborns to individuals in their 90s—who will be spending Christmas alone and who have not received assistance from other agencies. Each participant has created their very own 3-item wish list, thoughtfully put together to reflect items that would brighten their holiday season and remind them that their community cares.
We warmly invite you to browse through these recipients’ wish lists located on our Facebook page and consider sponsoring someone special. Please remember: there is no obligation to purchase all three items. Even choosing just one meaningful gift from a recipient’s list can bring comfort, warmth, and joy to someone who might otherwise feel forgotten during this time of year.
Your generosity helps us deliver not only presents, but also hope, connection, and the magic of the season.
