Last year was a Great success.The venue is set for this year's now we just need nominations.
The Kiwanis Club of Kingston is pleased to announce the return of the
42 nd Kiwanis Sports Awards and Gus Marker Event, scheduled for Thursday, May 28, 2026, at City Hall, Kingston, from 7-9 P.M.
The event recognizes and celebrates the achievements of local youth athletes, teams and coaches, referees sports and builders. Nominations are now open for the Gus Marker trophy, and a NEW Bill Huntley trophy honoring outstanding contributions to local sports teams as well as another New award to be named later to recognize coaches,refs, and Builders.
Nomination forms are available, and the deadline is drawing near . To nominate your favorite local sports youth (19 and below), coach, referee, or sports builder, please visit
awards@kingstonkiwanis.ca. Or contact Robert Munroe, Chairperson, Kiwanis Sports Committee.
The Kiwanis Club of Kingston is a volunteer group dedicated to serving the community through events like the Kiwanis Music Festival and RKY camp. The event is sponsored in part by Brooklyn Fine Homes.
